An Aesthetic Movement Walnut Metamorphic Coal Box

The handle, when pulled back, mechanically opens the two doors to the front, which has brass panels depicting herons eating fish in a river scene with bullrushes and birds above them.

The original internal tin liner has worn through and could easily be restored by a competent metal worker.
