By Roger Féraud, this rare sculptural painted iron coat and hat stand aligns with late Mid-Century Modern design, c.1960. The looping wire uprights trace the treble-clef silhouette, with criss-cross braces and two circular stretcher rings for rigidity. Spherical red terminals articulate the hooks at graduated heights, lending a lively rhythm while protecting garments. The light, linear construction is characteristic of French atomic-era metalwork and presents strongly in an entrance or hall.
