By Prattware, a Gothic Revival terracotta jug aligned to the Gothic Revival movement (1830 to 1900), c.1880. The bulbous body rises to a short neck and everted lip, the surface decorated with crisp gilded line bands at the rim, shoulder and waist. A sturdy loop handle completes the pared back profile. Impressed F & R Pratt & Co mark to the base confirms manufacture.
