Returns & Cancellations Policy
At Puritan Values, we strive to ensure that every client is satisfied with their purchase. We understand that buying antique and decorative items online can involve unique considerations. This policy outlines your rights and obligations when returning an item, in line with both our internal policies and applicable consumer protection laws.
Return Eligibility (All Orders)
- Returns must be requested within 14 calendar days of receiving the item.
- Once approved, the item must be returned within 14 days.
- The item must be returned in the same condition as received, using the original packaging where applicable.
- Shipping costs both ways are the responsibility of the buyer.
- A 25% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund to cover handling and relisting.
Refunds are issued after inspection. Items returned in a different condition may incur further deductions.
Right of Withdrawal (EU/UK Customers Only)
Customers in the European Union and United Kingdom have a legal right to cancel an online purchase within 14 calendar days of delivery, without needing to provide a reason.
To exercise this right:
- Notify us in writing (email) within 14 days of receiving the item.
- Return the item within 14 days of cancellation confirmation.
- Return shipping is at your expense, and a 25% restocking fee applies unless the item was faulty or misdescribed.
Items Not Eligible for Return
- Custom commissions or bespoke alterations
- Items marked “Final Sale” at the time of purchase
- Items returned damaged or altered from their original state
Damaged or Misdescribed Items
If your item arrives damaged or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We’ll work swiftly to resolve the issue and assist with insurance claims if needed.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel an order within 24 hours of purchase, provided the item has not yet been packed or shipped. After that time, the standard returns policy applies.
