Arts and Crafts Brass Wall Light with Owl Finial and Pierced Fan Shade c.1900
£550
Cast brass wall light aligned to the Arts and Crafts movement (1880–1910), c.1900s. The pierced, fan-shaped reflector sits in an oval frame with applied bosses, while an owl finial crowns the top. A central boss brings the flex through to a single lampholder, giving a compact sconce suited to a hallway, stair, or alcove.
The combination of simple casting, pierced ornament and emblematic bird motif reflects domestic Arts and Crafts metalwork of the period. Present electrics and lampholder are later service items; inspect and re-wire to modern standards before use. Shade not included.
