Arts and Crafts Copper Patinated Brass Bevelled Mirror with Repoussé Decoration

An Arts and Crafts copper patinated brass bevelled mirror c.1900, bordered with hand repoussé fruit and floral decoration in low relief. The rectangular frame is fitted with a bevel-edged mirror plate and mounted with a pair of brass candle sconces that swivel on simple forged brackets. The surface retains its original hammered texture with an even brown patination, characteristic of early twentieth-century brass work from the Arts and Crafts movement (1880–1910).
