This copper mirror by Liberty & Co. is aligned with the Arts & Crafts movement (1880–1910) and dates to c.1900. The rectangular plate sits within a broad copper frame set with a cloudy blue Ruskin jewel at the crest and stylised Glasgow rose panels to each side, a compact format suited to hall or bedroom walls.
Liberty & Co metalwork of this date often balances simple planes with focused ornament, and the Glasgow rose motif places the design within the firm’s dialogue with Glasgow School geometry during the movement’s later phase.
