The surface is finely hammered with leaf motifs, combining decorative artistry with practical design. A wrought iron handle crowns the lid, hand-forged to a gentle arch and attached with scrolling mounts. The piece embodies the functional honesty and handcrafted detailing central to the Arts and Crafts ethos.
