Pair of Arts & Crafts Silver-Plated Table Lamps with Stylised Floral Relief

£2,000 / set

Pair of silver-plated table lamps aligned to the late Arts & Crafts movement, c.1910, with a strong Art Nouveau naturalism. The circular domed bases carry crisp stylised foliage in relief, the leaf forms rising into tapered stems and repeated at the collar beneath the lampholders. The design is compact yet sculptural, reading as a matched pair for mantel, console, or bedside use.

Casting and chasing emphasise simple, honest modelling consistent with British Arts & Crafts metalwork of the period. Surfaces show gentle age to the plating and pleasing depth of tone. The present bayonet lampholders are later replacements and are mismatched in finish, so electrical inspection and re-wiring by a qualified professional is recommended. Shades are not included.
