James Plucknett attributed, probably for Collier and Plucknett, in the style of E. W. Godwin. An exaggerated high-back Anglo-Japanese ebonized armchair with pyramid finials and a Japanese-style fretwork back. Curved arms above a rush seat with step tapering front legs united by a corresponding front stretcher and splayed legs to the back. Seat height: 43 cm. Arm height: 64 cm.
