Shapland & Petter. A rare mahogany dining room set consisting of a sideboard, a buffet, and two chairs. The sideboard and buffet all with stylized floral panels inlaid with fruit woods, Pewter and Abalone. These floral panels are after a design by M. H. Baillie Scott and one of the most beautiful and pure Arts & Crafts floral designs that Shapland & Petter used. There are a number of Baillie Scott designs that Shapland & Petter used, and it is quite possible that Baillie Scott may have sold designs to Shapland & Petter.
