A rare Aesthetic Movement fireplace with a curvaceous mantle with gadrooned and dot details and a row of Japanese floral insignias. The centre one is decorated with Barnard, Bishop & Barnard's trademark four opposing bees with a larger sunflower below, flanked by Japanese designs stretching down to unite with the arched opening, complete with its bars.

Small corner missing to the bottom left-hand corner.
