The apron below has subtle flowing details to where they meet the top of the square legs with 45 degree chamfered details running down the gently tapering legs. The table has an unusual and slick sliding mechanism that you just pull out, then drop the leaf in place, and push together shut. The leaf has the original brass latches to connect underneath to catches on the main tops.

Fully extended with the leaf in place, it measures 108 1/2" inches; the leaf measures 21 1/2 inches. Length without leaf is 87 inches.
