Bruce Talbert attributed. An Aesthetic Movement walnut ebonized armchair with fine turned and incised details. Shaped head rest and ball finials to the top. The arms follow down through the seat to the side stretchers, making this armchair a stronger, better design very much in the same style as the Sussex armchairs by Morris & Co. The front legs have Thebe-style trumpet feet.
