Liberty & Co., A Good Quality Windsor Armchair

A good quality Windsor armchair attributed to Liberty & Co., with well-designed back supports. There is an identical armchair in Jeremy Cooper's "Victorian and Edwardian Furniture and Interiors" on page 209, illustration 575, where it is shown on display at the Essex & Co. showrooms. The showrooms were designed by C. F. A. Voysey. Circa 1890s.
