Coalbrookdale. a Rare Cast Iron Double Back to Back Garden Seat

POA

A rare cast iron Coalbrookdale double back to back garden seat

To sit and look out over the river or to sit and look at the house. With mythical dragon style heads to the front arms, dragon's paw feet, and stylised floral details.

When I purchased this double bench over ten years ago, most of the seat rails were rotten, so I borrowed a saw and cut it in half outside the shop! Luckily, the original top rail with 'OLD ENGLAND' carved into it was still in perfect condition, which I have kept safe.

The ends require stripping and painting to the colour of your choice. Once this is completed, we can make new slats to match the original quintessential 'Old England' top rail.

Circa 1870's.
