Lamb of Manchester presents an Aesthetic Movement ebonised and coromandel side cabinet. It features a bevelled mirrored and shelved back, a glazed base with a spindle galleried undershelf, and is stamped to the top edge of the door. Possibly designed by W. J. Estall, Lambs were one of the very best cabinet makers of the period. They were a pure Art Furniture company, whose furniture designs were at the forefront in England in the late 1800s.
