Ogdens of Manchester
Attributed to Dr. Christopher Dresser. Aesthetic Movement ebonised and parcel gilt walnut nursing chair, with a carved lotus flower, and ring turned legs with original brass and ceramic casters, the casters stamped with a Patent Office mark for 25th March 1875 . Stamped Ogden Manchester.

The details in this chair show striking stylistic similarities to Dr. Christopher Dresser's designs for furniture. The top rail and seat have been professionally reupholstered in a quality hide.
