Philip Webb for Morris & Co., attributed. A larger than usual Aesthetic Movement bobbin turned Satinwood chaise lounge or day bed, the upper turned armrests with typical Morris & Co., nipples to each end, united with turned ever decreasing in size bobbin uprights to the back and side. The simple frame with a later Morris & Co., fabric and matching elongated roll cushion sits on exaggerated turned legs with the original brass and ceramic castors.
