By William Birch, a rocking chair in light oak, aligned to the Arts and Crafts movement (1880–1910), c.1910. A tall ladder back with turned finials sits over shaped arms and a square seat on slender posts with twin side stretchers and curved rockers. The woven rush seat has been recently professionally re-rushed, presenting cleanly while retaining the chair’s honest surface.
