An Arts and Crafts super quality teak hall bench in the style of Arthur Simpson with a flowing heart-shaped design to the back and a moulded head rail. It features scroll hand-carved arms and decorative exposed double-pegged joints throughout. The bench also has a moulded edge to the seat and shaped aprons below. It is stood on square tapering legs united by stretchers, with the main one nicely set forward.
