Lambs of Manchester.

A rare Aesthetic Movement ebonized walnut octagonal eight-leg centre table with a veneered macassar ebony top and a molded edge and shaped aprons below united by four upper turned stretchers. The centre of the lower shelf features veneered macassar ebony and a raised Thebes style gallery, of which the top rail crosses each other uniting to the eight shaped feet. The table is adorned with incised tramline decoration and stands on the original castors. A highly accomplished and timeless design.
