Leonard Wyburd for Liberty & Co. presents a rare Arts and Crafts two-tier mahogany side table. It is inlaid with three pewter florets with ebonized highlights on each side of the aprons below the top, all framed with line inlay. The upper sides feature pewter flower buds joined with ebonized line inlay in the shape of a smile. Additionally, there is a further single pewter flower bud at the centre of the side upright supports and an unusual lower stretcher at each end below the lower shelf. The table is stood on shaped feet. This Liberty table shares the same pewter florets as the Liberty & Co. Leonard Wyburd Valkyrie oak piano, which I have added an image of in this listing. I sold the piano a few years ago.
