M. H. Baillie Scott A Cuban Mahogany Dining Table From The Liverpool School Of Art

POA

M. H. Baillie Scott.
A Cuban mahogany dining table, possibly made by A. W. S. Simpson and The Handicrafts, with panels of stylised plant motifs to the heads of the square, inverse-tapered legs. The design is pure to the Scottish Arts and Crafts movement and highly accomplished, featuring butterfly joints beneath each corner for added quality.

Thought to be from the Liverpool College of Art.

Three examples available: one other of the same size and one slightly smaller, squarer version.
