Shapland & Petter – Arts and Crafts Oak Oval Dining Table on Castors
POA
By Shapland & Petter, a solid oak oval dining table aligned to the Arts and Crafts movement (1880–1910), c.1900. The planked oval top with a soft moulded edge sits over a plain frieze on square tapered legs ending in castors for easy movement. The clean geometry and honest construction are consistent with Barnstaple production for the domestic market, giving a useful six-seater footprint while keeping a light visual presence.
