A Pleated Vaseline Shade, Consisting of Alternating Stripes & a Ruffled Rim
£450
This pleated Vaseline glass lampshade dates to around 1900 and captures the decorative clarity of late Arts and Crafts movement (1880–1910) glass design. Hand-blown in translucent Vaseline glass, the shade alternates pale yellow and opalescent white stripes that taper toward the fitter rim. The edge is softly ruffled to enhance light diffusion and produce a warm, even glow when lit.
