Ruben & Birkett. A Sweet Little Arts & Crafts Silver Plated Sugar/preserve Bowl

£180

Ruben & Birkett silver-plated sugar bowl made in the early twentieth century during the Arts and Crafts Movement (1880–1910), exemplifying the hand-crafted domestic metalwork for which British makers of the period were celebrated.

The bowl is of hammered and raised construction, circular in plan with a slightly everted rim and three scroll-ended legs hand-forged and silver-plated over copper.
