Thomas Jeckyll for Barnard Bishop & Barnard. An extremely rare cast iron fireplace insert with sixteen highly detailed large Aesthetic style roundels with stylized floral decoration, and sixteen pairs of small roundels between the large ones. The second roundel to the top right has Jeckyll's butterflies, and the third roundel has the four opposing bees within that roundel, which Jeckyll made famous, all in the Japanese Aesthetic style.

The opening is framed by flowing tramlines.

There is an image of an identical fireplace in brass in: Thomas Jeckyll: Architect and Designer, 1827–1881, written by Catherine Arbuthnott and Susan Weber Soros, Fig. 6-32. Registered design BT 43/37 no. 286980 on the 13th November 1874.
