Arts and Crafts – Pair of Copper Candlesticks (c.1900)
£450 / set
A pair of copper candlesticks, Arts and Crafts movement, c.1900. Each of circular tiered form with pierced drip trays and moulded bases, hand-finished throughout.
This pair of candlesticks, formed in copper during the Arts and Crafts movement (1880–1910), shows the straightforward construction typical of domestic metalwork of the period. Each is composed of a circular base rising through a moulded foot to a short stem supporting a pierced drip tray and cylindrical nozzle. Surfaces retain a warm patina with evidence of hand-finishing. Likely produced by a small workshop working within the English Arts and Crafts tradition around 1900.
