This is a Glasgow School walnut piano stool with storage under the seat and a lift-up flap to the front to make the seat higher. The seat has semi-circular cut-outs to allow for the circular finials in each corner. The sides feature pierced tulip-style decoration on turned legs, united by stretchers on round feet. A brass patent plaque is located inside.
