Glasgow School – Arts and Crafts Silver-Plated Photo Frame with Celtic Motifs
£850
A Glasgow School silver-plated photo frame aligned to the Arts & Crafts movement (1880–1910), c.1905. The rectilinear surround sets Celtic interlace at the top corners over a plain field with three stepped square plaques along the base. The face is a folded plated skin over a brass body with a front turn-button pivot for the inner panel; the back is sheet brass with a soldered wire easel strut and a small top hanging loop. Clean, geometric vocabulary typical of Scottish Glasgow School metalwork.
