A Twin Arm Single Wall Light (c.1910)
£375
A twin arm single wall light in brass, Arts and Crafts movement, c.1910, with circular backplate 4½" and reach from wall 15¾", reflecting functional balance.
This brass wall light, produced during the Arts and Crafts movement (1880–1910), demonstrates the clarity and simplicity valued within early twentieth-century domestic fittings. The circular backplate anchors two lateral arms, each terminating in a socket with restrained turned detail. Its geometry is purposeful, aligning with the movement’s preference for proportion and unornamented form. The warm patina across the surface reflects age and continued use without loss of integrity.
