Arts and Crafts copper spirit kettle on stand c.1900

£375

This spirit kettle in copper sits within the Arts and Crafts (1880–1910) tradition, c.1900, English. A rounded body with a beak spout and loop handle sits above a cylindrical reservoir, all raised on a tripod stand with three arched legs that curl out to steady the base. The burner sits beneath the pot so the kettle can be kept warm at table, the whole reading as clear geometry rather than heavy ornament, the hand planished surface catching light across the curves.
