French Style – Pair of Milky Glass Shades (c.1910)

£500 / set

This pair of glass shades, formed in translucent milky glass during the French style period c.1910, display the delicate ribbing and scalloped edges associated with early twentieth-century domestic lighting. Each is of circular flared form with a narrow neck, expanding towards an undulating rim that diffuses light evenly when fitted. The material and soft opacity are consistent with French production of the period.

Both retain their original finish and remain well preserved, the glass free from significant damage. Offered as a matching pair.
