Set of Six Arts and Crafts Milky White Glass Shades with Clear Edges c.1910

POA

This set of six milky white glass shades dates to around 1910 and represents the late Arts and Crafts movement (1880–1910), when handcrafted and mouth-blown lighting glass was in high demand for interior design. Each shade is mould-blown in milky opaline glass with a scalloped edge finished in clear glass, producing a soft diffusion of light.

The group reflects British domestic Arts and Crafts lighting, where simple form, purity of material, and artisanal glasswork replaced ornate Victorian embellishment. Their uniform quality and survival as a complete set make them ideal for period restoration or display.
