British, c.1900. A large Art Nouveau tube-lined tile decorated with stylised flowers in rich colours of ochre, blue, and green. The symmetrical composition, defined by raised slip lines, exemplifies the organic linearity typical of British ceramic design at the turn of the century. The tile is mounted within a simple wooden frame for display.
