William Birch. A Pair of Oak Dining Chairs

£700 / set

William Birch. A pair of oak dining chairs by the High Wycombe maker William Birch, known for his contribution to the Arts and Crafts Movement and for collaborating with leading designers of the period. Each chair features a solid oak frame with subtly curved back supports and a shaped top rail with a central pierced handle motif. The construction expresses Birch’s preference for simple honesty of design and exposed joinery. Unrestored condition.
