In the style of Charles Bevan, this oak wall mirror, aligned to the Gothic Revival movement (1830 to 1900), dates to c.1880. The rectangular plate is held in a slim chamfered frame, the uprights set with vertical line and dot inlay and triple bars at the terminals, the top frieze worked with a repeating sunrise arcade over small shaped corner brackets. Brass hanging eyes are fitted along the top edge and discreet side fixings sit mid-stile, giving a clean, geometric presentation consistent with Bevan’s disciplined vocabulary.
