Probably made by Marsh and Jones of Leeds. A fine quality Gothic Revival oak desk or side chair (ready for upholstery) with turned uprights below the backrest and carved wavy details below the seat. Turned front legs on original brass casters, united by a turned H-stretcher. At the top of the backrest is a clever recessed handle making it easy to move.
