Attributed to Gillows of Lancaster
A rare Gothic Revival architect's folding desk. The top has opposing slides opening to reveal a compartment for storing drawing utensils, etc. The folding leather work area has three different working positions and folds down neatly when not in use. To one side, there is a cupboard; to the other side, there is a bank of five drawers, the upper drawer of which is a dummy.
