£750

A small blue-glazed vase designed by William Moorcroft (1872–1945) and produced at the Moorcroft Pottery, England, in the early 1920s. The bulbous form is decorated in the Anemone pattern, with slip-trailed and tubelined flowers hand-painted beneath a deep cobalt glaze. Signed H. M. The vase exemplifies his mastery of rich tonal glazes and his influence on early 20th-century British studio ceramics.
