Hugh Wallis

An Arts & Crafts hand-formed round copper plate with chased decoration to the edge and inlaid to the inner edge with pewter. Stamped H W in a square. Nice chocolate patina.

Hugh Wallis was based in Altrincham, near Manchester in the North-West of England. He was a highly skilled artist and art metal worker from the Arts & Crafts Movement in England.
