About this piece
M. H. Baillie Scott (attributed). Arts & Crafts exterior doors — two matching pairs.
Hand–made pitch-pine doors in the Glasgow School manner, each upper section with stylised rose-and-foliage stained-glass panels (probably by McCullock & Co., Glasgow). Substantial section—thicker than standard—and suitable as secondary exterior/security doors.
Pair 1 — Hinged doors
With superb decorative cast-iron strap hinges (heart details). Rebated meeting stiles (male/female) so the leaves close together cleanly. Ideal for a summer house, workshop or garage.
Pair 2 — Sliding doors
Each with large cast-iron running wheels at the head. Designed to hang from a simple steel channel (to be site-fabricated) fixed above the opening; doors then slide apart to open/close. Removed from an Arts & Crafts garage.
Sold as two individual pairs. Additional interior doors available separately (see below).
