E. W. Godwin style of, a fine quality Anglo-Japanese oak Hallstand with upper panels depicting songbirds perched in cherry blossoms and a central bevelled mirror. The lower panels depict apples and pears. The central drawer features tramline decoration highlighted with ebonized line detail, flanked by arched and half-turned details with turned uprights to the front. A strong Anglo-Japanese design is incorporated into the umbrella/stick stand compartments to each side, with Sunflower carved details to the front and back. A lower shelf incorporates the drip compartments to each side, with zigzag detailing to the chamfered edges. The hallstand is all stood on turned ball feet with shaped supports to each side.
