Guild of Handicraft Arts & Crafts Silver Pepper Pot with Flaring Base

£750

Pepper pot in silver, aligned to the Arts & Crafts Movement, c.1910. A compact bell-based form rises to a shallow collar and domed, pierced cap, the gently planished surface catching light in the round. The silhouette is economical and assured, with a wide, flaring base that stabilises the small vessel while giving it presence on the table. The date code P corresponds to circa 1910, placing this example within the mature Chipping Campden period of the Guild’s production, where restrained profiles and hand-wrought textures convey utility and craft.
