Pair of Gothic Revival Brass Candelabras with Graduated Candle Holders, c.1875

£450 / set

By a British workshop, a pair of table candelabras in brass aligned to the Gothic Revival (c.1840–1890), c.1875. Each carries a row of five graduating candle holders with drip pans on a long stretchered base terminating in hexagonal feet. The linear composition, stepped heights and faceted details echo medievalising metalwork popular in late-Victorian interiors, giving a strong, architectural presence across a mantel or refectory table.
